Annual Membership dues will increase to $75 

(+$25 NRA annual dues) per year beginning now.

BCGC has never raised it's dues in 13 years making 

us the cheapest private gun club (that I know of) in 

the nation. 

Our range improvements hus far have been sorely needed 

but have drained the treasury. 

Bumping up the fee will generate an extra $3750 per year or

thereabouts which ill give us the funds needed for additional 

renovations and improvements. Before anyone complains 

too much please keep in  mind most clubs charge between 

$500 - $1500 per year with only Joplin being $75 like us. 

That extra $25 a year will go a long way to ensuring we 

can do the range improvements we need to handle 

expanded use from a more active membership. 

Including an annual NRA membership  ($25 through the club) 

your total bill will be $100 for 2009.

Trim needs installed on the shotgun houses plus 

some general work on the range. 

We don't have any pixies working at the range

just a few tireless souls doing 99% of the work for the 

rest of us to enjoy. 

Please spend part  of a day helping out.

Annual officers election Thursday Nov 13th at Napoli's.

If you wish to run for office email me asap and I will 

add your name to the list. 

Each member of the club gets a vote. Current officers are...

Thus far no one has stepped forward to contest these 

positions and  all of us are willing to continue for at least 

one more year if needed. 

If anyone else wants to take a position or just volunteer to 

help in some way we are more than happy to take the 

assistance.

Christmas Party/December 11th meeting

The location will be determined shortly. 

We will have a pot-luck 

dinner and some time to socialize without earmuffs on. 

Bring the family and meet all the members.

National election coming up!

In case you missed it we are less than one month away 

from election day.

The NRA has issued it's grades on each candidate in all

races from local to national. Check out the links below 

to see how your representatives and candidates rate on 

protecting gun rights. 

Gun owners have been compromising for 70 years with 

the gun banners and it sure looks

like compromise is a slow path to extinction.
